On Thursday, protests were held in many areas of Ahmedabad over CAA and NRC. Protests in many areas of Ahmedabad also took violent forms. After which violent clashes were also seen between police and protesters. Gujarat Police has registered an FIR under the conspiracy to murder and other sections on 8000 people who were involved in violent demonstrations against the citizenship Act.
Protesters pelted stones at police personnel on Thursday in Shah-e-Alam area of Ahmedabad. In this attack 21 policemen including a DCP, an ACP were injured. Based on the complaint of PI JM Solanki of Isanpur police station, an FIR has been registered against 5 thousand people. In which sections like conspiracy of murder, tying up in official work, rating were imposed.
On the other hand, on Thursday in Banaskantha people had taken out a rally in protest against NRC and CAA and raided the raid highway. After which the protesters attacked the police car. In this case, a case has been registered against 3022 protesters, out of which 22 have been identified and the police is searching CCTV footage to identify the remaining people.
