BJP shifts gears in Surat ahead of civic poll to woo voters

With just a few days left for the municipal corporation elections in Gujarat, political parties that have fielded their candidates are trying their best to woo the voters. The BJP too is trying its best to entice the voters through its poll campaign.

The Surat unit of the saffron party has launched a massive campaign to win the municipal corporation election scheduled on February 21. All 120 candidates fielded by BJP from the 30 wards are engaging with people, with the party’s star campaigners helping them in doing so.

BJP rally, public metings

As part of the campaign, the BJP party workers along with the poll candidates are taking out a bike rally today from the Sarthana area. Gujarat BJP president CR Patil will take part in the rally along with a large number of party workers.

Notably, the Aam Aadmi Party had recently organised a mega rally in Surat’s Varachha area.
