New Delhi: BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and others reached NMDC Convention Centre on Sunday morning for the party’s National Executive meeting. The meeting will be held in a hybrid form, meaning that while a few leaders will attend in person, others will join virtually.

PM Modi was seen arriving at the centre in the morning. The meeting was scheduled to begin at 10 am.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh, Home minister Amit Shah, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, among others were part of the meeting.

BJP general secretary Arun Singh said the decision to hold the meeting in a hybrid form was taken in view of Covid protocol.

At the BJP national executive meet, leaders are expected to discuss elections next year in various states as well the results of the recently concluded by-elections. Among other agenda on the table is the Covid situation in the country.

Presentations of government schemes, work of volunteers during the pandemic, etc will also be highlighted.
