New Delhi: On the ongoing violent protest against the CAA and NRC in the country.The controversial tweet was deleted on Thursday, December 19 from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) official Twitter handle as tensions spread over. he tweet was made from a BJP handle. But in view of the protests taking place in the country late on Thursday, the controversial tweet from the BJP’s handle was deleted.
In the first week of April, during the Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah created controversy in the BJP’s campaign. He said that his party will give implementation of the NRC across the country. We will remove the infiltrator from the country other than Buddhists, Hindus, and Sikhs. There was clear exclusion of Muslims in the NRC implementation.
Many Twitter users says that ‘What is done is done’
Recently, TMC leader Derek O’Brien tweeted some comment in response to the Government tweet and attacked the government by saying, “The BJP IT Cell can delete this tweet. But they can’t delete what the Home Minister told in Parliament. We will roll out the NRC from all the states.” Many other Twitter users said, “What was going to happen is done.” while others said the BJP’s Bengal page still had a tweet.
