The Chief Minister may induct 8 new ministers into the existing cabinet, however, it is not clear who will be excluded from existing ministers and which MLA will be inducted in the cabinet. But, since the news has come out, the leaders are trying their hard in own way.
After achieving a resounding success in the Gujarat Assembly elections in 2022, the Chief Minister included only 16 ministers in his cabinet. It may be noted that the BJP formed a small cabinet with only 17 members out of 156 MLAs in Gujarat. Subsequently, rest of the BJP MLAs were displeased. Now the new cabinet will also have a woman MLA and MLAs, from the districts which do not represent in the current cabinet, will also get a chance.
