Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has not yet been given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) chief and NCB DDG (operations) Sanjay Singh said.

He was reacting to reports that no evidence had been found against Aryan Khan in the drugs case in which he had been arrested on October 2 last year.

Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmum Dhamecha and others were detained on board the Cordelia cruise ship that was on way from Mumbai to Goa.

It had been alleged that they were part of a drugs party on the ship.

Several people were questioned in this regard, including actress Ananya Pandey.

Aryan was released on bail on October 28. However, he was asked to report at the NCB office every week.

In December, he was exempted from this clause as well.

On Tuesday, there were reports that the NCB had not found any proof of his involvement in the drugs case.

However, Sanjay Singh said, “It is highly premature to say that there is no evidence against Aryan Khan. Probe is still in progress.” He added that they have recorded multiple statements and that the agency has not yet reached any conclusion.
