Aryan Khan’s bail plea in drugs case rejected

Mumbai: There is no respite yet for Bollywood superstsar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The Mumbai court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of the youngster, arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drugs case.

The bail application of other accused, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, too, have been rejected.

The bail plea had come up for hearing on October 14. At that time, the court had kept the order pending till October 20.

Aryan Khan has been in custody since October 3, when he was detained by the NCB team during a raid on a cruise on way from Mumbai to Goa. He has been lodged in Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.

According to NCB, 23-year-old Aryan Khan has been consuming drugs regularly.

However, they did not find him in possession of any drug during the raid, nor did they find any evidence of his consuming the drug, according to reports.

At the time of their arrest, NCB had claimed that they had enough evidence in the form of WhatsApp chats and calls to show they were involved in purchase and possession of drugs.

The NCB claimed that the youngster had been in touch with people who appeared to be part of an international drug racket.

Police also reportedly found a drugs-related chat between Aryan and an upcoming actress.
