Apache and Chinook adds extra edge to Indian Air Force

After a long wait of 4 year, APACHE(an attack helicopter) from American Boeing Company and Heavy lift helicopters, CHINOOK is been introduced to Indian Airforce this year.

Apache was introduced by Air Chief Marshal B.S Dhanoa at Pathankot airbase on 3rd September this year. It is considered as a replacement of Mi – 35 fleet.

The CH- 47F(I) Heavy-lift Chinook helicopters was first introduced in the assets list on 25 March at Airforce station Chandigarh.
So far 4 Chinook helicopters have been revived in the force and the remaining to be delivered by end of 2020. A crew of IAF was trained for flying Chinook in the USA in October 2018.
Indian Airforce made the deal for 22 apache and 15 Chinook helicopters for $3 Billion in 2015.

The Attacking Apache and heavily-lift Chinook are defiantly boosting the strengths and capability of the sky soldiers, The Indian Airforce.
