Bollywood Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has returned to Twitter after 4 months and expressed his anger on the recent developments. He has tweeted a resentment against the Citizenship Amendment Act and wrote,”This has gone too far.. can’t stay silent any longer . This government is clearly fascist .. and it makes me angry to see voices that can actually make a difference stay quiet.”

In August this year, Anurag left Twitter. He had left his Twitter saying that all of you should have a lot of happiness and success. This will be my last tweet as I am leaving Twitter. If I cannot speak my mind without fear, it is better that I do not speak. Good bye to everyone.

Not only Anurag Kashyap, Bollywood celebrities are coming out against the new citizenship Act and the lathicharge on the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi.

Demonstrations are being held at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi against the citizenship law. In this case, the opinion of everyone across the country is divided. Some organizations and leaders are opposing it. At the same time, about 700 celebrities including film artists, writers, teachers and former judges have written to the government and appealed to withdraw this bill.
