Ahmedabad: Amid soaring inflation AMUL has hiked Rs.2 per litre in milk for its different brands. In a short span of nearly 6 months Amul has hiked price for the second time giving a fresh blow of inflation on first day of the month.

Amul Federation has increased the price of Amul milk by Rs 2 per liter due to hike in the price of cattle feed. The price for Amul Gold 500 ml has been raised from Rs 31 to Rs 32. Similarly, Amul Shakti 500 ml price has been hiked from Rs. 28 to Rs. 29 rupees. Earlier a packet of Amul Buffalo was available for Rs.32, now it will cost Rs.34.The price of Amul Slim Trim has been raised by Rs. 1 to Rs. 23.
Earlier Amul Tea Special was sold at Rs. 29, now you have to pay Rs 30. For Amul Taja, instead of 25, you will have to pay 26 rupees from today. Whereas the price for cow milk has been increased from Rs.31 to Rs.32. New rates have been implemented across the state including Saurashtra, Kutch, North Gujarat, Kheda-Anand and Narmada from Saturday, April 1.
