Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on visit to Arunachal Pradesh. After arriving in Arunachal, on a two-days visit, Amit Shah launched ‘Vibrant Villages’ programme in Kibithoo area. On the occasion Amit Shah gave a befitting reply to China. China, earlier reacting on visit of Amit Shah, said that the visit may prove to be a threat to peace and situation over the border between two countries may get worse.

After launching ‘Vibrant Villages’ programme and other developmental projects in Kibithoo of Arunachal Pradesh Amit Shah addressing a function said,” I humbly pay my homage to 6 officers of Kumaon regiment who fought bravely here on 21 October, 1962, that resulted in protection of Indian land. They were a few in a number and they had less weapons. But, Time magazine in 1963 wrote, ” Indian army had not enough arms during the battle fought in Kibithoo, but they were full of valor than any other force of the world.”
Amit Shah added that the people of country live their lives without any worry due to courage and sacrifice of our ITBP and army soldiers. Currently, we say proudly that now the era of encroachment over Indian land does not exist. Before 2014 North East region was known as a problem area. But due to PM Modi’s ‘Look East’ policy, North East is no longer considered as a problem area in last 9 years, now North East is known by its contribution in the development of the country.
Countering threat raised by China, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, from Kibithoo in Arunachal Pradesh, said that as the Home Minister, I say that as long as the ITBP soldiers are present on the Chinese border, China can not acquire an inch land. No one has the courage to encroach on even an inch of our land.
