Amit Shah turns 56, birthday wishes pour in

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cabinet ministers, chief ministers and Bollywood celebrities were among thousands of people who wished Union home minister Amit Shah on his 56th birthday.

PM Modi took to Twitter to wish the ‘Chanakya’ of Indian politics on his birthday. He said: “Birthday wishes to Shri @AmitShah Ji. Our nation is witnessing the dedication and excellence with which he is contributing towards India’s progress. His efforts to make BJP stronger are also noteworthy. May God bless him with a long and healthy life in service of India.”

Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power at the Centre, Amit Shah, his man Friday, has worked wonders in strengthening the BJP and decimating the Opposition.

Meanwhile, Shah responded to PM Modi’s birthday wish and said: “Thank you Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for your valuable wishes. It is a matter of great pride to work under your leadership and guidance. Your hard work and vision motivates us to work relentlessly towards #NewIndia.”

Cabinet ministers, CMs wish Amit Shah

Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also wished Shah on his birthday. He said: “Wishing the Home Minister of India Shri @AmitShah Ji a very Happy Birthday. His dedication and hardwork has contributed towards the development of India. I wish him long and healthy life. #HBDayAmitShah.”

Similarly, defence minister Rajnath Singh praised Shah for strengthening the internal security of the country and wished him a healthy and long life.

BJP’s national vice-president Baijyant Jay Panda too wished Shah on the occasion. He said: “Birthday greetings to Shri @AmitShah Ji. His outstanding skills & dedication have contributed immensely to the growth of our party & strengthening of India. Wishing him good health, long life, & many more successes for our nation.”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also wished Shah on his birthday.

Apart from political personalities, Bollywood celebrities also wished the Union home minister on his birthday.

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who recently got Y-plus security said: “Honourable Home Minister sir wishing you a very happy birthday, we are a very fortunate nation to have a passionate and dedicated leader like you who works for the well fare of this nation with single-minded focus #HBDayAmitShah @AmitShah.”
