Ahmedabad: A man from the Danilimada area of ​​the city has filed a strange complaint at the police station. In which he accused his second wife, that two days after the divorce, she fled with the valuables from the locker with the help of a duplicate key.

According to preliminary information of the incident, 42-year-old Sanjay Parmar, who resides at Becharbhai ni chali in Danilimada, has filed a complaint. According to which, he was married in 1998 but his wife died in 2003 due to illness. After which, according to social customs, he married a woman named Manjula Parmar.

However, a few months after the wedding, stepmother Manjula started torturing Sanjay’s daughter and son. As a result, there were disputes in the family and both divorced on November 30. After which when Sanjaybhai left for his job on 2 December and returned in the evening, he found that the locker was open.

About this, his daughter said that her stepmother Manjula had come to get her clothes and had opened the locker. After which jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh was missing from the vault. Therefore, he immediately called his wife but she did not give a satisfactory answers so Sanjay Parmar contacted Danilimada police and lodged a complaint. At present, the police has started its investigation on the basis of the complaint.
