After Jamia Violent Protest in Delhi Seelampur, Police Release Tear Gas

In the wake up of Citizenship Amendement Act protest which has turned into war like situation in Delhi. Police crackdown in Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi and the Citizenship Amendment Act as students and political leaders took to the streets. After the violent demonstrations at Jamia University, now the protest has become violent even in Seelampur. Police fired tear gas on the protesters and the protesters also threw stones at buses.

According to the information being received, there has been a ruckus in Seelampur area. Around 2,000 people have gathered there for the protest against the citizenship Act. The mob pelted stones between Seelampur Tea Point to Jafrabad Tea Point. The policemen have also got injured in this. Many buses have been busted. Force has been deployed in the area. After the uproar, the entry and exit gates of Jafrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur metro stations were closed.

There is a ruckus in Seelampur for about two hours. The ruckus began at 1 pm. During this time, many people were demonstrating with the tricolor in their hands and were demanding the removal of the new citizenship Act. The performance took a fierce look. After this, the stones started coming. The police have driven the protesters into the streets.
