Jaipur: After 11 years, the court has convicted 4 accused on charges of conspiracy in 2008 serial bomb blast case in Rajasthan capital Jaipur. While one accused is acquitted due to lack of evidence. These accused have been convicted under different sections under UAPA.
Five accused were presented in court today in Jaipur bomb blast. Where the court has given the verdict, the five accused have been convicted. Special Court Judge Ajay Kumar Sharma ruled in the hearing of this case. All accused in the case are from Uttar Pradesh. The five convicts in this case were Shahbaz Hussain, Mohammad Saif, Sarwar Azmi, Saifur Rahman and Salman. At the same time, three of his colleagues have not been arrested till date.
In fact, after this serial bomb blast in 2008, the Rajasthan government formed the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) to nab the accused. In this case, there were blasts in many places including Chandpol Hanuman Temple of Jaipur, Sanganeri Gate Hanuman Temple.
The Eight serial bomb blasts had rocked Jaipur on 13 May, 2008.This serial bomb blast had left nearly 70 people dead and 185 injured. The ATS had named 11 terrorists in the Jaipur blast case.
