Just a few days ago Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had called PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah an intruder. There was a lot of ruckus on his statement. In such a situation, Ranjan has lost his endurance once again, while addressing a Congress public meeting in Basirhat, West Bengal had said that yes I am a Pakistani. Do what Modi-Shah has to do.
Addressing a rally, the senior Congress leader said, “I am called as a Pakistani. Today I want to say that yes I am Pakistani. Do what you want to do. Saying yes to yes here is not free from danger. People sitting in Delhi will say that we have to accept or else we will become traitors.”
Chowdhury further said, “Where are we living today? We are asked to do what Narendra Modi and Amit Shah say. This is not acceptable to us. This country is not the cultivation of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s father. Hindustan is not the property of anyone’s father. Both of them should understand this. They are today, they will not be there tomorrow.
It may be noted that there is a verbal war between BJP and Congress over the Citizenship Amendment Act. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition and senior leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had given a second statement on the statement that he had made in past. In such a situation, the party will feel uncomfortable as before, or it will shed its weight.
