On Thursday, protests were held in many areas of Ahmedabad over CAA and NRC. Protests also took violent form and the Police arrested 49 people along with Congress councilor. While registering FIR against five thousand people for the violent protests in Shah-e-Alam area. The city police commissioner ordered strict action in this matter.
Regarding the case of violent protests in the Shah-e-Alam area, Gujarat Home Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja also said that during the whole day, people tried to spread unrest in many places. During this time, the legal action will be taken against those who will be found involved in the video-CCTV footage available. He said that the state government is fully committed to take strict steps to ensure that there is no obstruction or risk in peace and security in the state.
