Congress President raises many questions in letter
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has raised many questions in a four-page letter. He said that due to the continuous erroneous and hasty decisions being taken by the Modi government, rail travel has become unsafe. Due to this, people traveling by train are facing trouble.
Railway minister not ready to accept his mistake: Kharge
Targeting Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav as well, Kharge said that such a horrific accident has happened and the Railway Minister is not ready to accept his mistake. He asked then why the CBI inquiry was ordered. The entry of the CBI only means that some crime has been committed here.
Railway is being treated like a step mother
CBI or any other legal agency cannot solve the technical, organizational or political problem. Railway safety is also facing shortage of technical experts, signaling and maintenance. Describing the Balasore train accident as the worst tragedy in history, Kharge said that instead of making the Railways more modern, advanced and efficient, it is being treated like a step mother.
