Delhi: The Modi government at the Centre brought an ordinance to establish the National Capital Civil Services Authority (NCCSA), which will have the power to recommend transfers and postings of all DANICS officers and Group A officers serving in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal is constantly meeting the leaders of the opposition parties, seeking their cooperation against the decision of the Centre. Meanwhile, Congress has given a big blow to Kejriwal.

Congress party has almost made its stand clear today on support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the issue of ordinance of the Modi government at the Centre. In a meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leaders have asked him not to support AAP on the ordinance. Congress leaders, also unitedly said that no alliance should be forged with AAP in Delhi.

Along with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh and Ajay Maken were also present in the meeting. The Congress high command, in the meeting, sought the opinion from the Delhi Congress leaders regarding the Centre’s ordinance brought against the Kejriwal government and the alliance. All leaders opposed the alliance, Ajay Maken strongly opposed the question of supporting Kejriwal on the issue of ordinance. Besides, the leaders have left the decision of meeting Kejriwal to the high command.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has earlier met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar besides Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over the Centre’s ordinance to set up the National Capital Civil Services Authority in Delhi. Besides, Kejriwal has also asked for time to meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in this regard. But, Congress has given a big blow to Kejriwal in today’s meeting.
