After registering a case against Raut, the Nashik Police issued a statement saying that Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Uddhav Thackeray faction, had made a statement against the state government before two days in a press conference held by the home ministry, saying that the government was illegal and its rules should not be followed. After receiving the complaint, a case has been registered against Sanjay Raut at Mumbai Naka Police Station under Section 505(1)(B) of IPC for allegedly creating discord between the police and public by his statement.
Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Uddhav Thackeray Faction, said about this case that if a case has been registered against me in Nashik, I have only said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, I think that this government is illegal, in the event of the Government employees following the orders issued by such illegal government, the order will become illegal and action will be taken against it in the coming days. So follow the orders of the government carefully. I have been always put up under pressure, but we are not going to bow down under pressure.
