Violent protests are continued in Pakistan following the arrest of Imran Khan. Meanwhile, leaders of Imran Khan’s party are also being arrested in Pakistan. According to a BBC Urdu report, Former foreign minister of Pakistan and a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also been arrested.

Meanwhile, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has warned the perpetrators of violence in his address to the country on Wednesday night and said that the perpetrators of violence will be severely punished. Meanwhile, 10 people have also died due to violence in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in his address that in politics we can’t get good results with a sense of revenge, we are still facing many cases of NAB. None of them have been proved against us so far. We have never refused to face the law. Shehbaz Sharif alleged that families and relatives of political opponents were not spared when Imran Khan was ruling the country and stated that the ministers of Imran Khan used to air details of cases against political opponents and the former premier used to predict arrests.
In Pakistan, arrest of leaders of Imran Khan’s party has commenced. In a recorded video before the arrest, Pakistan’s former foreign minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said,” The police have come to arrest me, I want to give a message. This movement is a freedom struggle and we have to participate in it. Today Imran Khan is in their custody, whose life is in danger…”
