Gandhinagar: Talati exam will be held in Gujarat on May 7. Earlier, Hasmukh Patel, Chairman of GPSSB, while addressing a press conference in Gandhinagar, appealed the candidates to give their confirmation on time. Since the last date for giving confirmation is 20th April, many candidates who gave the confirmation will be allowed to appear in the exam. He said that the question paper will be given to the candidates at 12.30 pm only.

Meanwhile, the process for obtaining confirmation from the candidates to appear in the Talati – cum- Mantri examination to be held on 7th May in Gujarat is almost nearing to an end. GPSSB has fixed the time limit till 20th April 11 pm as the last date for giving confirmation.
IPS Hasmukh Patel, chairman of Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB), said that so far six lakh candidates have been given their confirmation. Students who have still not completed the process are advised to do so immediately. Talking about about the call letter, Hasmukh Patel said that proper arrangements have been made in such a way that every candidate will get the call letter eight to ten days prior to the scheduled exam. He added, those who have received the consent form can download their call letter.
He added, the utmost care has been taken to ensure that every student gets equal time. Arrangements have also been done to ensure that centers may be allocated at a distance of 50 to 60 km from candidates’ residence. IPS Hasmukh Patel also clarified that the students who have been blacklisted in the matter of dummy scandal will not be allowed to sit again in the exam.
He said, ” Proper care has been taken to prevent any paper leak this time. Besides, every information is being monitored meticulously.
