Organs of braindead Manoj Prajapati beat Lives of 4 people – yet another encouraging Example of Organ Donation

Manoj Prajapati, from Uttar Pradesh, currently residing in Isanpur, Ahmedabad, recently suffered brain hemorrhage. He was immediately rushed to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital for for intensive treatment. But, after two days of intensive treatment, he was declared brain dead by the doctors of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.

Subsequently, a team of State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization(SOTTO) at civil hospital gave an extensive understanding about organ donation to his family members.

Realizing that organ donation is best work and a great donation currently, his mother and family members agreed to donate his organs. On receiving the consent for organ donation, the brain dead Manojbhai was taken to the retrieval center by the hospital doctors. After a long procedure and eight to ten hours hard work a heart, two kidneys and a liver were donated.

All donated organs were transplanted into the patients admitted to the hospital of Ahmedabad Civil Medicity. The heart was transplanted in a patient of UN Mehta Heart Hospital while kidney and liver were transplanted in the patient of the Kidney Institute. It was 103rd organ donation at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
