Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has launched attack against the government. Despite a Gujarat MP who was convicted and sentenced for 3 years in a criminal case was returned his membership. But Rahul Gandhi, who speaks truth, is not allowed to enter the parliament. Kharge said it looks like double standards, is being adopted against us. After disqualification of Rahul Gandhi the case of Amreli BJP MP has become the center of discussion.

Court had sentenced Amreli MP for 3 years in 2013. Mr. Kachhadia’s conviction was later quashed by the Supreme Court.
Talking to the media today, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge countered the allegations of Scindia and Ghulam Nabi Azad and said that the Congress party never puts pressure on anyone. I also don’t want to say that the government is pressurizing, but it’s an example that membership of a person, who is sentenced for 3 years, is not cancelled whereas a person (Rahul Gandhi) who spoke the truth got his membership of Lok Sabha cancelled.
Mr. Kharge said in a tweet, “The height of the Modi government’s hypocrisy and double standards — a BJP MP from Gujarat is awarded a three-year imprisonment by a local court, sessions court and high court but there was no disqualification till 16 days. “But Rahul Gandhi was disqualified with lightning speed.”
pic.twitter.com/uB3mI8SqzC
