Gandhinagar: Toll tax amount for the use of Ahmedabad – Vadodara expressway has been hiked. Now the journey by light vehicles including cars will be costlier by Rs.10. The people travelling by car will have to pay Rs.135 as single toll tax and Rs.200 for return.

A’bad – Baroda toll tax Rs.135
Car Toll tax has been raised by Rs.10 for journey from Baroda to Ahmedabad. Due to hike in toll, amount for journey from Ahmedabad to Baroda, car, jeep, van and other light vehicles will have to pay Rs.135 for single and Rs.200 for return journey.
A’bad- Nadiad toll tax Rs.65
Ahmedabad – Nadiad single trip will cost Rs. 65 while the return journey will cost Rs. 95. At the same time, Ahmedabad – Anand single trip will cost Rs. 85 while a return trip shall cost Rs.125 on account of toll tax.
Now onwards for the use of Ahmedabad – Baroda National Highway from Raghavan toll Rs.105 and from Vasad to Baroda on Vasad toll road Rs.150 will be charged per car. Subsequently to the said hike from 1st April if you have to travel by car from Baroda to Anand you will have to pay Rs.50 for fast tag, Rs.70 for Nadiad, Rs.130 for Baroda to AUDA ring road and for Ahmedabad Rs.135 as toll tax.
Toll tax hike by IRB
Earlier, Ahmedabad to Baroda toll tax charge for cars, jeeps, vans and light vehicles was Rs 125 for a single journey and Rs 190 for a return journey. However, now the toll tax charge has been hiked by Rs. 5 to 10 for Vadodara to Anand, Nadiad, AUDA Ring Road and Ahmedabad. TIt may be noted here that the hike in the charges of toll tax has been announced by IRB company. His time, instead the government a government company has given a big blow to the people already suffering by inflation.
