In a major road accident in Bhavnagar district today 6 laborers were killed and 7 other were seriously injured. Eicher truck loaded with fodder overturned near Mevasa village near Vallabhipur. There were 14 laborers in the truck going to their destination. It is said that one tire of the truck got burst and the driver lost his control over steering wheel and the truck got overturned.

All 14 laborers were crushed under the truck, 6 laborers were died on the spot. Other 7 were seriously injured in the incident. They were referred to hospitals at Vallabhipur and Bhavnagar. Police rushed to the spot on receiving the information about the accident. People residing nearby villages also joined in the rescue of crushed people.
