30 Afghan Sikhs to arrive in Delhi on Wednesday

New Delhi: A total of 30 Afghan Sikhs from Afghanistan will be arriving in Delhi on Wednesday. These include children and infants.

The evacuation has been facilitated by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Amritsar, according to news agency ANI.

The group has been helping Afghan Sikhs and Hindus to come to India, with the help of the Central government and the Indian World Forum.

Recently, the Kart-e-Parwan Gurdwara in Kabul faced a second terror attack.

Even as the attacks continue, the Taliban government urged to the community members to Afghanistan, claiming that they had addressed security issues in the country. A month ago, 21 community members had been brought to India.
