Ahmedabad: South Gujarat is experiencing unseasonal rain again according to the prediction by Ambalal Patel. Meanwhile, there are news that two people have died after being struck by lightning. Some parts of Navsari, Kutch, Tapi and Surat experienced rain on Tuesday. Two people died after being struck by lightning in Dungar Chikhali village of Surat’s Kamrej and Babla village of Bardoli.

The cyclonic circulation over Maharashtra and Rajasthan has been affecting Gujarat. Ambalal Patel has predicted, a possibility of change in the weather conditions in April. Earlier, he predicted rain with thunder in North and Central Gujarat on April 17-18. On the other hand, forecast by Meteorological Department (MD) was contrary to prediction by Ambalal. MD forecasts that during this period the maximum temperature will rise by one to two degrees in different parts of the state.
According to meteorologist Ambalal Patel, there may be rain with thunderstorms in Gujarat during April, 18 to 20. He has also predicted heavy snowfall to occur in the northern mountainous regions of the country. Heavy unseasonal rain from April, 18 to 20 has been also predicted by Ambalal. While pre-monsoon activity will continue in the northern hilly region of Maharashtra Chhattisgarh. According to Ambalal, there is also a possibility of hailstorm and rain in April. There will be severe heat after April 26. The temperature will touch 45 degrees and the heat will set a new record.
Meanwhile, MD has issued a severe heat alert in Ahmedabad. Vijinlal, Scientist at Ahmedabad Meteorological Center predicted the possibility of rise in heat and issued an alert for Ahmedabad. He also expressed the possibility of increase in the maximum temperature by 1-2 degrees in different parts of the state.
